If you’ve recently purchased a Sensus AMI or AMR system, one of the first things you’ll need to do is install and activate your Sensus SmartPoint meter radios. Here, we will walk you through the process of installing and activating a Residential Sensus SmartPoint to a diaphragm meter. For the purposes of this video, we’ll be showing you how to attach and activate a Sensus SmartPoint 100 GM to a Sensus R275 meter. However, the process will be the same for any meter and meter radio in your system regardless of the residential meter brand you have. For more information, please contact your distributor. What you will need:
- Meter
- Sensus SmartPoint and screw kit (Includes 4 mounting screws, 2 index screws, and 2 security seals)
- Flathead screwdriver
- Phillips style screwdriver
- ¼" nut driver
- Putty knife
